Description

This Saiga 46 has been designed by Jacques Fioleau and built by Navi Composites.

A handsome shape, light weight, stiff, solid epoxy chassis are the main features of this superb fast cruising multihull. Rotating Carbon mast Black Flag (2013), 2 Lombardini 4 cylindre engines in perfect condition (700h), mainsail in Hydranet in good condition, genoa on furler, 2 spinnakers and storm jib.

A Lewmar 44 electric winch completes the deck layout for single-handed manoeuvring.

This multihull is attractive and reassuring, and will delight a discerning owner who knows how to carry out a general overhaul of the boat. The side rigging and the forward beam martingale will have to be replaced (over 8 years old), and the deck and hulls will have to be repainted (no rush).

Catamaran “coup de Coeur”, to be chosen for its performance, cruising safety and flattering silhouette. The interior volume is smaller than contemporary units, but the performance is far superior!
